Legal Information
The information on this site is offered in good faith and is meant to be genuinely helpful. It's also important that you know its limits. Please take a moment to read what this site is, and isn't, before we go further.
My practice is built on transparency, so this page matters to me. What I share here, whether it's information about trauma, anxiety, somatic work, or the therapy process, is offered as education. It is not a substitute for working with a licensed clinician who knows you and your situation.
If anything on this site raises questions or concerns, I'd always rather you reach out directly. That's what I'm here for.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) licensed to practice in Florida and Connecticut. My work focuses on trauma, anxiety, somatic healing, and PTSD.
The information on this site reflects my professional knowledge and clinical perspective. It is educational in nature. Visiting this site, reading its pages, or submitting a contact form does not constitute a clinical consultation or establish a scope of services specific to your needs.
If you're unsure whether my approach is a fit for what you're carrying, I encourage you to reach out. A brief conversation can tell us both a lot.

Reading this website does not create a therapist-client relationship between us. That relationship begins only when we have both agreed to work together in writing and I have accepted you as a client.
Until that point, I am not your therapist, and nothing on this site should be relied upon as individualized clinical guidance. Please do not share sensitive personal information through the general contact form before that relationship is established.
If you're in crisis right now, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or go to your nearest emergency room. I'm not able to provide emergency services through this website.
-
The content on this site, including descriptions of therapy approaches, trauma responses, somatic techniques, and mental health conditions, is informational. It is written to help you understand what these things are and how they work in general.
It is not clinical advice tailored to your specific history, symptoms, or circumstances. Reading about a particular modality or condition is not the same as receiving a professional assessment or recommendation from a licensed provider who knows you.
For guidance that fits your actual situation, please consult a licensed mental health professional. I'm happy to help you think through whether my practice might be the right fit.

I make every effort to ensure the information on this site is accurate, evidence-informed, and up to date. That said, I can't guarantee that all content is complete, current, or applicable to your individual situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss, injury, or harm arising from your use of this site or reliance on the information it contains. This includes decisions made on the basis of content found here without first consulting a qualified professional.
Use of this site is at your own discretion. If something on these pages raises concerns for you personally, please speak with a licensed provider directly.

Some pages on this site link to external websites, resources, or organizations I find valuable. These links are provided as a courtesy and for your convenience.
I don't control the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of external sites and I'm not responsible for what you'll find there. A link from this site is not an endorsement of everything on that site, and those organizations are not affiliated with my practice unless I've said so explicitly.
If you come across a broken or outdated link, I'd genuinely appreciate you letting me know.
