INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

Modalities I Draw From

I integrate Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, and the 12 Steps. I'm also a skilled facilitator for Dr. Nicole LePera's global Self-Healers Circle group.

When "Doing All the Right Things" Still Doesn't Bring Relief

You've worked hard on yourself. Maybe you've been in therapy, built a career, raised a family, or cultivated a solid wellness routine. From the outside, you look put together. But on the inside, the story is different.

  • Anxious or burned out, even when life looks "good" on paper

  • Disconnected from your body, or stuck in cycles of tension, shutdown, or overdrive

  • Frustrated by patterns that keep resurfacing: codependency, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or unresolved trauma

  • Spiritually curious, sensing there's more to healing than talking it out, but unsure where to turn

  • Emotionally exhausted from carrying unseen stress, grief, or weight that others don't see

  • Ready for something deeper than surface-level insight or coping strategies

If this resonates, you're not broken. You're human. And you're ready for a different kind of therapy.

The Approach

A Deeper Way to Heal

I specialize in working with high-functioning adults who are ready to go beyond traditional talk therapy and create real, embodied change. Using Somatic Experiencing, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and an integrative lens, we gently work with the nervous system to create shifts that last.

My sessions are practical, compassionate, and deeply grounded in science. You won't have to retell every painful story to heal. Together, we'll work through what your body has been holding so your mind and heart can rest.

What This Work Can Help You Do:

  • Release trauma held in the body without reliving the past

  • Restore your sense of safety, self-trust, and emotional resilience

  • Shift long-standing patterns at the root, rather than just managing symptoms

  • Integrate mind, body, and (if desired) spirituality for a more grounded, authentic life

Who I Work Best With

I'm the right fit if you're:

  • Therapy-savvy and seeking something deeper than surface-level insight

  • High-functioning but carrying unseen stress, trauma, or emotional weight

  • Open to body-based therapy, functional medicine, or a spiritually curious approach

  • Ready for change that's both gentle and transformational

I support individuals navigating:

I can serve as your primary therapist or collaborate with your current care team, offering Somatic Experiencing as a supplemental approach. As a Qualified Supervisor, I also mentor clinicians who want to bring a deeper, integrative lens to their work.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions About Working with Jen

  • Many of my clients are high-functioning, growth-oriented adults who feel like they've done a lot of personal work already, yet something deeper still needs healing.

You may benefit from working with me if you're in stable recovery from addiction or eating disorders and ready to explore underlying patterns, living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or codependency that talk therapy alone hasn't shifted, a parent struggling with a child's addiction or fertility challenges, an adoptee or survivor of childhood neglect or abuse, a therapist, medical professional, or first responder carrying secondary trauma or burnout, a 9/11 survivor, veteran, or front-line worker holding unresolved stress in your body, a woman navigating grief, loss, or a major life transition, or someone with neurodiverse or highly sensitive (HSP) wiring who longs to feel more grounded and understood.

As a Qualified Supervisor for LMFTs and LMHCs in Florida, I also mentor clinicians who want to bring a deeper, integrative lens to their work. Alongside individual therapy, I lead groups and workshops that teach nervous system regulation and practical tools for resilience.

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-based therapy that helps release trauma and stress stored in the nervous system. Instead of reliving painful memories, SE gently guides you to notice and shift the body's natural responses, like fight, flight, or freeze, so you can feel calmer and more regulated, heal without being retraumatized, and build emotional resilience from the inside out.

As Dr. Peter Levine, the founder of SE, explains: "Trauma isn't about what happened. It's about what remains in the body."

Unlike EMDR, SE doesn't require revisiting specific memories. It works with sensations and body awareness, making it uniquely effective for people who've tried other therapies without lasting relief.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes, always paced to your nervous system. My sessions are practical, compassionate, and deeply grounded in science. You won't have to retell every painful story to heal. Together, we'll work through what your body has been holding so your mind and heart can rest.

I can serve as your primary therapist or collaborate alongside your existing care team, offering Somatic Experiencing as a supplemental approach.

  • Yes. I offer in-person sessions in Palm Beach, Florida (serving Delray Beach to Jupiter) and secure virtual therapy throughout Florida and Connecticut. Both formats are equally effective for Somatic Experiencing work.

  • I provide receipts for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan. I am licensed in Florida (LMHC #11170) and Connecticut (LPC #1860). Coaching is available nationwide. Payments are accepted via Zelle or private Venmo.
