Accessibility
Statement
Therapy should be accessible. So should the website that helps you find it. Here's what I'm doing to make sure this space works for everyone.
I'm committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities. Access to information about therapy and how to get started shouldn't depend on anyone's abilities or the assistive technologies they use.
I'm actively working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is ongoing work, and I'll keep updating this page as improvements are made.

I believe everyone deserves a space that works for them. Whether you use a screen reader, rely on keyboard navigation, increase text size, or use any other assistive technology, my goal is that you can find what you need on this site without running into unnecessary barriers.
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines organize accessibility into four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust enough to work with current and future assistive technologies.
I'm a solo practice, and I take this seriously. Accessibility is part of how I build and maintain this site, not an afterthought.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA organizes accessibility around four core principles. Here's what each one means in practice on this site:
Perceivable: Information is presented in ways everyone can perceive, including through screen readers, sufficient color contrast, and text alternatives for non-text content.
Operable: All functionality is available by keyboard alone, with no time limits that would disadvantage users, and no content likely to cause seizures or physical reactions.
Understandable: Text is readable and predictable. Input fields have clear labels and helpful error guidance.
Robust: Content is built to work reliably with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers and alternative input devices.

This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. I evaluate accessibility through a combination of manual review, automated testing tools, and direct user feedback. This statement is reviewed and updated regularly as improvements are made.

This site is designed to work with a range of assistive technologies, including:
Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack)
Keyboard-only navigation (no mouse required)
Browser-based zoom and text resizing up to 200%
High-contrast display modes
Voice control software
Reduced motion preferences, honored via CSS media query
For the best experience with a screen reader, I recommend pairing an up-to-date browser with your preferred assistive technology: Chrome or Firefox with NVDA or JAWS on Windows, Safari with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, or Chrome with TalkBack on Android.
